IOlog modules

General Description

The IOlog lineup includes a wide range of I/O (input/output) modules and isolated serial converters/adapters avaliable in three different versions; “Compact” (SS3000 series), “Webserver” (SS8000 series) and “Industrial” (SS10000 series).

ALL I/O modules provide highly accurate and stable measurements over time, unaffected by temperature changes. A double hardware/software Watchdog is responsible for system reboot and variable reset to predefined safe values. Diagnostic LEDs signal the operational current status of the module, for immediate feedback. Full galvanic isolation protects communication from electromagnetic interference present in industrial environments.

I/O modules are equipped with a Modbus RTU/ASCII RS485 interface or a Modbus TCP protocol Ethernet interface depending on the version. All devices can be integrated into an IoT architecture using a IoT MQTT Gateway/Datalogger.

Several modules, interconnected through RS485 or Ethernet, can be combined with Winlog Evo to build a reliable and affordable distributed data acquisition system for industrial or home automation.
